A WORD FROM OUR MANAGING DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
The Write Time started from the desire to inspire and support the hardest to reach members of the community. Established in 2014, we are an organisation motivated by the goal of helping individuals thrive in their challenging environment, by giving them a strong foundation of support, education, and advice.
We offer a variety of government and lottery funded programmes to provide in-school mentoring programmes, traineeships, women’s projects and a small independent school. We are always looking at ways to work in partnership with other organisations to broaden the scope of the services we can offer.
CEO & FOUNDER
Chris was inspired to set up The Write Time as he strongly believes that we should be doing more to engage people in education to lead them into achieving their full potential and get the best opportunities in life.
Chris’ passion and drive is to successfully work with young people that are marginalised by society and promote social inclusion. He specialises in “turning around” those hardest to reach and will work alongside their families and other providers to get the best possible outcomes.
His own personal story is one of triumph over adversity.
Suk has worked for leading training providers for 29 years, all her positions have been customer focused and she is passionate about making a difference to individual lives. Suk joined a Youth Training Scheme at the age of 17 on completion of work experience. She was employed as a tutor and discovered she had a natural flair for supporting learners to achieve.
This was the start of a successful career utilising her skills as a manager and talent for customer relationships. She is proud to say her working life has been varied and challenging at times, which has contributed to making Suk a strong leader. Suk enjoys meeting people and is a firm believer that it is never too late to start learning and improving yourself.

Amanda works tirelessly in her spare time to ensure that The Write Time meets its statutory obligations as well as giving financial and strategic advice.
Amanda works for a top FTSE company as a Senior Group Accountant and we are fortunate to have access to her expertise.
Samantha is joining our team as Headteacher at The Write Time Independent School. She has 20 years teaching experience and has taught across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Primary age ranges in all subjects within the national curriculum.
Samantha has a wealth of senior leadership experience and has spent the past 12 years leading as Head of Primary and Headteacher in mainstream primary and all-through schools and has successfully led a school through an outstanding Ofsted inspection. Most recently Samantha has successfully opened and lead as Headteacher at a Special School in Eltham which offered an academic and therapeutic curriculum.
Mei-Lee joined The Write Time after many years working with The Prince’s Trust, and has worked closely with Chris there in his previous capacity of Head of Operations.
Mei-Lee comes with the vision and drive to improve our Social Enterprise, and is focused on the continuous improvement of our processes.
Mei-Lee ensures that everything is on target and in line with School Policy. Mei-Lee works to promote the upskilling of our post-16 learners.

Sam has eagle eyes for attention to detail. He helps ensure that all the policies and procedures are on point.
Sam has worked in both state and independent education since 2006, with duties ranging from primary syllabus development, to undergraduate lecturing. Having been heavily involved in teaching, administration, and student support, Sam has a wide spectrum of academic experience.
In his spare time he organises and takes part in Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, and he is passionate about music technology applications.
Paul is a leadership consultant and coach with a focus on the importance of how we can all act and lead with wisdom, compassion and strength.
A qualified teacher with 15 years classroom experience he has also held senior leadership posts in the Education sector, including as a Headteacher and Director of Education, before moving to Board level work in Third Sector organisations and SME’s. He has successfully dealt with change and ambiguity throughout his career, working with both Executive and non-Executive Boards when they are facing challenge and change, as well as coaching individual leaders.
TRAINING DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Tony has been working with Charities and schools for 18 years. For the last 5, he has been working in school setting, providing tools that promote better educational engagement among students through training, confidence building and the understanding of Choice Theory.
Tony also manages Aspire Higher, a mentoring programme that works in PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) and Alternative Provisions with the aim of improving behaviour of its learners over an 18-month period to encourage positive outcomes such as further education, qualification, or employment.
